what do I bring to a prenatal meeting?

Interested in learning more about my prenatal meetings? Here’s a breakdown of what I bring along when I’m empowering expecting parents.

  1. Baby stomach

For my clients nervous about producing enough milk, I show them the average size of their baby’s stomach at different ages.

  2. Baby diaper

I show first-time parents what they can expect from their baby’s dirty diapers with a fake diaper.

  3. Breasts

My model breasts are a great tool to show clients how to nurse, and when I work as a postpartum doula, these babies come to every shift.

  4. Wraps & Slings

I’m obsessed with baby wearing! I bring slings and wraps and guide parents as they try them on.

  5. Bottles

Whether or not clients plan to bottle feed, I illustrate to clients how to safely wash bottles and feed a newborn.

  6. Baby Mateo

My baby model joins me for all of my prenatal meetings and non-toxic consultations. He is a model for diaper changes, feeding, baby wearing, and more.

  7. Lots of information

Clients learn from a presentation and receive lots of handouts and guides so that parents can develop birth and postpartum plans and systems.

Hi! I'm Gigi; I'm a postpartum doula, mother to three toddlers, including twins, and a wife to my high school sweetheart. I’m a #swiftie who loves cheesy novels.

As a former teacher, I bring realistic, evidence-based, and actionable advice (and LOTS of handouts.) I help families get the tools they need to prepare, so once baby arrives, they can focus on resting and bonding instead of researching or stressing. I’m here to streamline the newborn learning curve and help birth parents, partners, and other family members. There isn’t ONE way to have and raise a little human. I’m here to guide parents to find THEIR way so that they can thrive in the fourth trimester and beyond.
